it is true... kids love this stuff. i feel so guilty feeding it to my eleven-month old, but somehow serving it with a side of peas makes me feel better about the whole thing. and just look at how happy it makes him:

little buddies

i watched jackson for matt & bonnie the other day. asher LOVES kids and he was so excited to have a friend over. the trouble is, jack wasn't as fond of asher and kept running away whenever asher crawled over to him. eventually they played together a bit.


wishing they could get out to play in all that dirt....

slacker

i have been a total blogging slacker the past month and a half. life has been busy! after running into three people in the past week who have asked me if i have updated yet, i decided it was time. sorry... i didn't really think anyone has been reading this!
asher is napping so i just created 6 new posts covering the past 6 weeks and now i am going to try to get a nap in myself before he wakes up. we started letting him cry it out at night... the first night he woke up briefly a couple of times but went right back to sleep but last night he cried from 2 to 4 am. i didn't think we were going to make it, but he did finally go back to sleep! keep your fingers crossed that we do a bit better tonight.

i was washing dishes the other day and realized asher was being awfully quiet. i looked up and found he had reached a ziplock bag full of graham crackers, opened the bag, dumped them out, and was happily helping himself. such a big boy!

sooooo sleepy

this boy was so tired so i put him down for his nap but he only wanted to play so he cried and cried. suddenly the crying stopped so i peeked in to check on him. he had fallen asleep sitting up! i thought he looked so uncomfortable so i tried laying him down, but that woke him up and he wouldn't go back down. next time i will leave him alone!
