two miracles this week

1. food tastes good again! to celebrate, i actually cooked a meal (which is a miracle in and of itself), one of my favorites. the artichoke is the star of the photo.

2. we had our level-2 ultrasound and this baby's choroid plexus is completely free of cysts! (everything else checked out great as well)

although the second miracle is much more significant than the first, together they mean i can actually sit back and enjoy the rest of this pregnancy!

Oh, Mindi!!! Seriously, if anyone deserves a break it is you!

I remember that moment when food started to taste good again. (unfortunately it was when my babies were born) What a glorious day!

Mindi, That artichoke looks delectable! The only one that Dan ever ate was at your house! I'd love your recipe:)

The news of your ultrasound is wonderful. Happy baby growing!

Yay! I am so relieved to hear that everything looks good on the ultrasound. I am still curious as to what your due date is. Also, congrats on the food too. I started feeling pretty good at about 18 weeks and I too cooked a delicious meal to celebrate. It is amazing how much of a difference in your day it makes to be able to eat and keep in down.

I'm so happy that you cooked and ate this meal, and cannot WAIT for the day when I can also announce this.

But of course I'm mostly happy to hear of the health of your sweet February girl.

Little baby has to be big and strong to keep up with all the crazies!

That looks way too healthy to be good. I'm pretty sure I won't be making any artichokes soon. it would probably just be a waste of time anyways. ha ha ha

That is such great news. You deserve one pregnancy with a little less stress. And... would you mind explaining this food not tasting good thing during pregnancy. That never happens to me. Food is always great. Apparently this is why you stay so skinny. So I'm jealous.
