four years ago today

i gave birth to an angel. a beautiful, sweet, precious angel. she was ours to hold for fourteen days. ever since then it seems we are serving our sentence- a lifetime without your child seems like an eternity.
the party we had planned yesterday was a bust: asher was throwing up and the balloons we bought saturday night were on the floor by morning. i guess that's just the way things roll sometimes...
but asher woke up this morning excited to open addi's presents and eat cupcakes, baby sister will be here in two days, and we will re-schedule the birthday party. at the end of every day we are one day closer to having our whole family together again.

happy birthday addison! we love you!

"baby, come out!...

and bring me a present!"
that's what asher tells my stomach every day. we mentioned she may bring him a present a few weeks ago and now every day he asks if he's going to get a present today. i'm not sure who is more excited- me or him.
i'm starting to wonder if this pregnancy is ever going to end and continue to fret about when this little girl will arrive. six more days until scheduled c-section... at least the end is in sight.
asher has been soooo loving to his sister in my belly. he is slightly obsessed and loves to kiss and snuggle her and always rubs his blankie on her, "here go, baby. here go." i'm not so sure he will be so loving once she's out.

i'm feeling extra brave in posting that last picture... hope you all get a good laugh.
baby, come out!
